Sunday Ritual.

Mike uses a shaver each night to shave off the whiskers that have grown that day to prepare for the work day. He shaves after the kids go down for bed. On the weekends, he doesn't shave (it's the weekend, he takes a break). So by Sunday, he's pretty scruffy. On Sundays, he uses a real razor and shaving cream. In 5 years, I don't think Owen has ever witnessed this because it's always done when he's in bed.

Well, a couple Sundays ago, Mike decided that the kids were busy and he'd take the time to shave. But, as we know in this house, it doesn't take long for the kids to find us and see if we're doing anything entertaining. Reese was very enthralled when she saw Mike with shaving cream all over his face, she wanted to know all about it.

So the next week, Mike was promised that the kids could see (since Owen missed out on it). Even better, they got to help.
