Mom Time.

Since Owen has been in school full days, it seems he needs a little extra Mom Time. I've been trying to make it a point to read an extra book with him or play a game just the two of us, but life gets so busy sometimes, that I've actually planned a couple outing for us lately.
Last month we went to The Children's Theater to see Mercy Watson. A play based on a series of books. We had a great time and were laughing out loud together and now have a couple inside jokes that only we know.

Yesterday we went to a Parent/Child Christmas Cookie Baking event. We signed up with our neighbors and were gone for about 4 hours. There were 26 parent/children who were there, so it was a little crowed at times, but the kids loved it. 11 different kinds of cookies were made and we got to take home about 120 cookies.
