Every year we attend a 4th of July Parade at 10am.
This year we sat in 95 degree heat for an hour watching the parade.
Reese of course found all the clowns and gave them hugs...
And a couple superheroes...
Both the kids joined one of our government officials...
With temps going into the 100s, we had to be in the water so
we came home for lunch then headed to Aunt Annie's pool party...
Then for the first time we let the kids hold sparklers, it just makes me so nervous that they are going to accidentally hit each other, but they did a great job.
We stayed up super late to watch the fireworks right outside our front door with our neighborhood friends.
It was a great HOT day.
